Homer
Yep, 1 bar is the norm for the XS gates. I've only heard of TF changing them, so god knows if thats accurate info or not!
Tricky-Ricky
Thanks mate:) don't happen to know where to get a lower PSI spring from do you? or are they interchangeable with another make?
JamieP
They are interchangeable, i had an xs one in my Greddy WG so id say any Greddy one would fit it.

Dunno mate, i changed when i was running in the new engine as the Greddy one was to high, with the xs one i was only getting 0.5bar with the nut wound right out, iirc the xs wastegate is not adjustable though. absz
If you have access to a air compressor you can check it via a pressure regulator
Homer
There's 3 types of XS wastegate I know of, 38mm, 42mmm and 50mm. The one I had was the 42mm and it came with the 1 bar spring, which one do you have Ricky? And Jamie, mine was not adjustable.

n boost
My mate has a 0.7 bar spring for a xs power 50mm wastegate. I will ask him if he wants to get rid of it as it was a spare for his.
Soonto_HAS_soop
Mine came with what they said was a 0.7bar spring, it was crap and wouldn't stay closed at anything over 1.0bar so I had to swap it for a higher rated one, found one on Ebay from the states, worked a treat. Thanks mate that could be handy, the reason i want a low spring pressure (assuming an external behaves the same way as an actuator internal one) is that i want to run a quite low boost setting, .6 to .8 bar and then set up the boost controller for two or three boost settings.
