sjenne
Does anyone know how to remove the Steering wheel from the MKIV import TT 6 spd? Mine is the model without the airbag. Ta SJ
mrboost
Unscrew the three screws at the back of the wheel, then lift the centre section up carefully (the bit with supra on it) Then use a 19mm socket to remove the big nut. The wheel is free now, but you may have to knock it a few times to loosen it. Martin
Doughie
2lbs of Semtex should work, too.
sjenne
I can't find the 3 screws at the back of the steering wheel - are these on the back of the bit that turns or on the bit behind? All I can see is a single socket type thingy on the side of the bit that turns, this was in VERY tight, but after removing it the wheel still does not come any looser. Help!
