This film features extended archive, some of it rarely or never seen, alongside original interviews with the four surviving members of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Nick Mason, and traces the journey of a band that has only ever had five members, three of whom have lead the band at different stages of its evolution. This edition looks at the legendary Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon with interviews with Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason. Syd Barrett - Crazy Diamond: Omnibus Friday 23 May 11:20pm - 12:10am BBC4 The arts documentary series looks at the life of Syd Barrett, the creative genius behind the early successes of pioneering rock band Pink Floyd. His departure after a drug-induced breakdown was a bitter blow, and members of the group describe the ways in which he still haunts their lives and their music. hogmaw
Thanks for the heads up Martin. Still a real pleasure listening to and watching these guys. Apart from anything they've done in the past 30 years or so (ie since The Wall) I wonder if Nick Mason has or has had a Supra?

Rob
I'm not a fan of them but I listen to the radio most of the day and I've noticed that they very rarely play Pink Floyd, I wonder why? Cos most tracks are over 3 minutes long, and they've got nothing to sell at the moment. I watched it all, but have seen the Classic Albums prog before. Great stuff, especially the sad story of Syd. In fact today I lay on the sofa and listened to DSOTM and I haven't done that for years.
