haha.... watch the video

a bunch of pretty nondescript cars driving at speeds similar to those out at the supermarket picking up groceries. there is a lambo though, but seems to be going slow too.

couple of good comments in the video though.. e.g.

'this one has a 0.7 litre engine as standard.. like a lawnmower, but now it is 1.2 so should do 0-60 in under ten seconds' (i think this guy misunderstood what a 10 sec car is).

I've seen the video and couldn't really asses speed, the fact that cars looks nondescript doesn't mean they are slow. Although fact that some people become ignorant pricks after Supra purcharse is well documented ;)

The guy from Fiat Cinquecento knows exactly what he is saying, he tuned poor Fiat engine to stage, where he can go from 0-60 in under 10 seconds, which is pretty good score for car of this category.

But hey, at least they can have their LEGAL street race without splashing out stupid money to do 1/4 mile :)

Do you guys think any thing like this would ever happen in england?

"So is there a chance of something like this happening in the UK?

Apparently not. The Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo) in England and Wales say there isn't a problem with widespread illegal racing.

It says to encourage competitive driving on public roads would lead to more casualties."

Seems like we've got 2 hopes - Bob and none. :(
