Ian C
Under what circumstances does it knock? reversing at full lock, braking, general cruising, bumps...? -Ian
SilverMachine
a local garage and they said the bush is in the arm and cant be dun seperatly so the whole arm would need to be changed Got the same problem, N/S rear! It's not life threatening, but my mechanic said the same (see quote). Knocking is worse over pot holes and on concrete motorways. I'm changing both sides. There's a lot of play in the wheel and you can see the arm moving off the bush. When I get a price I'll let you know the damage! Gaz
tDR
Try tightening all the subrame bolts first - it's common for them to come loose on the mkiv Supra.

Dude :flame Dev I've never been convinced with putting a solid bush with no give in place of a bush with a degree of flex, given Toyota used that design for a reason - surely you're just going to transfer stress onto other components?
