SupraAyf
Guys, I'm looking at transporting my Supra and a Nissan Figaro from Portsmouth to Durham. The guys will have to use a 7.5 tonne truck due to the suitability of that truck to load my Supra without grounding it:rolleyes:. The round trip is circa 650-miles and they will have to do the trip in 1.5 days (due to tachograph and legal sleep requirements). Charge is 600 pounds all-in. Is this a good price fellas? Daston
dosnt sound too bad but then I was quoted $1500 to ship a car from america to the uk. However I supose they can fit a lot of cars on a ship and only 2 cars on a lorry

Jake
Sounds a lot at first, but when you think about the costs, time and logistics I wouldn't want to do it for much less.
grahamc
I have paid £180 to have my old supra transported from Leicester to Surrey. Hope that helps!
Dnk
It sounds ok to me seeing as your moving 2 cars, its less than £1 per mile which most guys here in Bham want unless ofcourse there uninsured and breaking the law etc etc
colsoop
Seems pretty reasonable. To pay someone to travel up and back with train fares is probably close to £
RiceRocket
And the truck runs on diesel and we've all seen the prices on the forecourts,
SteveR
http://www.wemovecars.co.uk Pic on the home page might suggest there are more options... I can't imagine Ferraris & McLaren Mercs have that much ground clearance. And they've moved a few Supras it seems.
SupraAyf
Hey all, thanks for your help and VERY useful responses. I think 600 seems OK in light of the logistics etc but I'm always after cheaper options (with no compromise) if at all possible. Tell me someone that isn't eh? Thanks again for all of your help, Andrew
