michael
its a f#'king joke if you ask me, think its about time something was done big time now! other countrys would not stand for it, we the people make this piece of crap country run, so if we really wanted change we could make it happen. think of it this way, theres alot more of us little people than any police or whatever, it up to us to get it sorted if you ask me Someone should start a thread and try to organise some kind of action against this... JohnnyW
will an N/A run on cooking oil:bang: Even that's gone through the roof, I run my wee pug 106 on it but it's getting to the point now where there's not a whole lot of difference in the cost of veg oil compared to diesel. supraGZaerotop
i think for a start that every lorry driver should start protesting like they did back a few years ago, the lorrys in work take about 500litres to fill up, and they do like 5 or 10 to the gallon, its crazy. we'll all be out of a job if it just keeps on going up and up, dont know about you lot but wages are not going up to match are they. really starting to hate this scum bag country. supraGZaerotop
another thing , i did think that when i bought the supra it was nice to think that it would always be worth good coin when it comes to sell it, but the way things are going it will be worth peanuts before long

I thought the lorry drivers had been protesting for years by driving like complete morons, overtaking each other with 0.5mph of speed difference, randomly crashing into people because they can't see them and being serial killers? Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps it's time to use less lorries and get it back onto the railways and canals.

GlennK
It all comes down to Consumer Power. If we all go to the cheapest station convenient to us and avoid the one up the road that is charging 5p/litre more - then the petrol supply chain will get the message in seeing a drop in sales volume. If we all do this every time then at least we can create a market pressure that makes it very difficult for the likes of BP, Shell etc to make billions of profit off our complacency and apathy. If we encourage others around us to do the same then we will make a difference. Here's my start for you here: http://www.petrolprices.com which I have used now for about a month and have always got the best prices local to my area (saving between 2p-5p/litre each weekly fill up) Let's do it guys! The only thing is that I get necter points from my local BP, which I can offset against my shopping, not sure how that works out cost wise but at least you feel you are getting something back! Havard
It has just cost me £68 to fill up the Mondeo...... My company have only just raised our business mileage rate to 14p/mile. They were paying me 12p before that and it was actually costing me money to go and see our customers..... Now I get £70 back if I get 500 miles out of a full tank. I am driving round like a big fairy in order not to use more fuel than needed. I was wondering at which point fuel will become so expensive that people start doing drive offs from petrol stations or syphoning out of other people tanks etc?? H.
