MR2 on pistonheads

Just like a Supra really! :D ;)

You can actually get away with a bit more with the sup as far as ham fisted cornering goes. The snap oversteer in the MR2 is usually what gets most people. The problem with the supra is most people don't know how to calibrate their right foot so they have too much power for any given situation.

Too much power with slow reactions equals bang.

True, RWD drive cars are easier to catch as long as the driver knows what they are doing. The MR2 is mid-engine'd and more unpredictable to catch...:)

hello

i own the blue one, that was originaly red.

http://www.teamshock.co.uk/forum/album_mod/upload/93cb5705b53a489cdbc75b6ed44fe041.jpg

With regards to the original question its a dificult one to put a price on because even though mods dont add to the value of the car the only person thats going to buy that is someone that likes modified cars if you want just a rev 1/2 mr2 you would just go out and get a standard one.

with regards to them being tail happy its not as bad as people make out, bar a 1.3 VW bug its the only rwd car i have owned and its stepped out a few times but allways seems to have come back. Lost it hugeley on the m25 about 3 weeks ago when the rear track arm snapped on it putting the rear drivers wheel out and thought it was game over but some how managed to keep control of it.

Dont let people put you off by saying there tail happy if you bear in mind its RWD and treat it carefully then it wont do you any damadge

plus you owns a supra right? you will be fine

PS: if you want those lights for functionality dont even bother they are a nightmare
