Are these any good when you have an FMIC?

I'm looking to go stock, or as close to it as i can, but i want to make sure it will work the same with the FMIC etc in there.

If so i'll have the 2nd one going lol

I do not understand what you mean? This will in no way mess with your FMIC as the FMIC sits a lot lower.

As you can see from the picture the duct sits on top of the fan shroud/radiator. It is only held in place by the airbox and 1 bolt at the end of the duct.

What i meant was.. where does the air for the duct come from? I thought it came from behind the rad which is where my FMIC is. I know i can put the duct on top no problems but its whether it will do its job effectively with an FMIC and aftermarket bumper that i'm wondering.

Regardless of what aftermarket bumper you have or FMIC the duct will supply cold air to your induction kit.

There can be fitting issues if you have an aftermarket radiator or one of those custom bling fan shrouds.

I will try and find a pic. :)

Good stuff, think i'll have one then. Might even buy a new one if its only £25. I was worried that the air came from underneath the car, up past the gap between the radiator (where my FMIC is) then into the duct.

Here is a pic, as you can the duct gets air from the front of the car and it spills into where the induction kit is. This is why I suggested cutting a hole in the heat shield that James made to have the air being fed into it.

If you are planning on getting as close to stock why not just get the stock airbox? The stock box performs better and is kinder to your engine, unless it is the induction noise you want?
