Guest torito
Hi lads, could anyone help me out with this problem. I ran out of fuel, the fuel gage wasn’t working, and the car stoped; I put inside about 4 gallons of petrol and the car still won’t start. Any advises, please, I only had the car for a week, didn’t even get to drive it… Any comments, everyone is welcome…. Thanks ahead…
carl0s
Hi & welcome Give it a minute or two and then try again, or turn the engine over a few more times.
turbonut
If the cars dredged up sludge from the bottom of the tank there could be a blockage in the fuel lines possibly? Fuel pump given up another possibility. Could even be your starter motor and nothing to do with the fuel. Do you just get a clicking sound when you turn the ignition? if so its the starter motor, but if it still turns over (although it sputters to a stop) it could be pretty much anything fellah, alternator leads, sparks etc etc If its been left standing for a long period before you took ownership the battery may be low on charge. Maybe check your battery connections are not loose, eliminate the obvious things. Hope you sort it though, Linda x

Guest torito
thanks to you all, i really apreciate that you all took the time to reply to my quote... it has a brand new battery. It started before no problem, but this time i just turned on the engine and it ran for abut 15 minutes, while i was puting on the new set of alloys, witch i was waiting for 3 months to come from Tai, and then the engine went ded, at that momet i remebered that it needed fuel, but to late, and the car is outomatic, i can't even push it down the street to get it started.....
