Range Rovers and Road Angels

I have a conundrum which is puzzling. For two years I have had a road angel fitted which is useful primarily for giving me an MPH readout (KPH on the dash) but also is handy in unknown territory for fixed cameras.

It is quite gently spoken whilst warning you of cameras black spots etc but the voice becomes frenzied when it comes out with 'Laser laser, check your speed'.

The weird thing about this is that it has gone off like this on about 5 occasions, 4 of these being when I was on a quiet country road unable to get anywhere near the National speed limit. Today it happened again only this time I noted that a range rover was passing... just like on the other 3 occasions (though one may have been a land rover).

So whats on these to cause this, and has anybody else experienced similar?

I can't believe it's reversing sensors as lots of peeps have these on their cars but it does just seem to be the ***rovers which set it off.

It may well be a transmitter used on cars to automaticly open gates/garage doors etc or block laser speed guns.

:yeahthat:

And probably because they're situated higher up on Rangeys.

My old Road Angel used to continually inform me I'm entering a school area while I'm bombing down the M4
