Graphics card recommendation

Chase

Recommended Posts

Guys,

I'm looking at upgrading my Matrox G400 graphics card (which has worked pretty well for the past few years I might add) with something a bit more up to date.

I'm getting really confused over all the different makes/speeds/chipsets and was hoping someone could give a few pointers or recommend a card...

My criteria:

Run 2 monitors @ 1280x1024 (non DVI)

Run 'Call of Duty'

AGP

Work with Epox 8K3A+ mobo

Be around the £50 mark (or less)

I'm not really a big games player (probably due to the fact I can't run many recent games :D), the main reason for looking for a new card is that I'm getting a ghost image of my 2nd monitor on the 1st one. Believe this to be the card as I've swapped cables/monitors/ports and the ghosting is always on screen 1.

Thanks in advance.

I have a Radeon 7000 64meg AGP card you can have for £15 if you like?

Can support 2 monitors, 1 VGA and 1 DVI (but will include a DVI to VGA adaptor for you so can can use 2 VGA leads). Also has s-video out. Is new, brought it in error (needed a PCI card not AGP).

Pic here....
