DamanC
Didn't really need doing but thought I would preb the bay ready for fitting the large pile of bling I have waiting to go on. Not done this before but was keen to try out a new tale of detailing. The second picture is whilst it was drying, the bling needs a little polish to rid it of the water marks, ill perhaps get a more upto date one in the next couple of days. Took about 1.5 hours in total. Before After

pistonbroke
Another one for the what products question. I've just bought a can of GUNK for mine, but I don't think I'll be getting results like that
DamanC
I used Autoglym Motorcycle cleaner. Its nice to bling you see Squirt, rub, rince. After a rince you simply squirt everywhere with AG Vinyl and rubber care and then warm the engine up and leave to cool. The recent photo is nearly a year later with a quick rub of Mequires NXT metal polish (excellent product) on the bling.

DamanC
Give it a clean first You have two choices next; a) Buy a polishing kit, swear a lot, and hate metal polishing forever! b) Get someone to do it for you! I done both.
