Chopping pics in paint?

I want to chop the top and bottom off a pic and have done it in paint before but figure out how to do it now, any tips?

The best tool to use is Microsoft Picture manager for easy cropping.

If youve got MS office its under MS Office > MS Office Tools in the programs menu

Then you can just go to edit picture > crop

otherwise in paint Im not sure how you do it as I never use it! though you can select the recatangle icon > draw a box round the area you want to be the picture.

Then Edit>copy

Then open a blank canvas with > New

Then Edit > paste

its a bit messy but it worked when I tried it just now :)

Easiest way would be to select the area you want to keep.

Edit>Copy (Ctrl-C)

File>New (Ctrl-N)

Edit>Paste (Ctrl-V)

File>Save (Ctrl-S)

WRONG

Easiest way is actually to select the area you want to keep, and then:

Edit>Copy To

Then enter filename Jobs a good 'un

The previous way you can end up with a white border around the bottom and right edge if your image is too small
