Ian Hayward
This has probably been covered 100 times before already, but... Iv just had my car back and is running 560rwhp. Just took it down shakey pod today and shit my pants a few times cos of the rubbish grip. I had no problem booting it on normal roads so thought it would be about the same if not better on the strip. That appears not to be the case. I do have my original 16" supra alloys that ill be trying tomorrow with some goodyear Eagle GScs, but I still think I need to invest in either better tyres for the 16"s or a complete new setup. Please can someone help before I stack my car. Cheers Ian
Fish
Lower the tyre pressure on the strip and heat them up as best you can - that should help keep it straighter until you get some good rubber on the 16s.
Ian Hayward
cheers. would you recommend MT street radials and would 255/50/16 fit on the stock 16" alloys?
Fish
I've run the street radials and found them good yes. As for sizes Im not sure what the stock rims are - I ran 275s from memory but heres a link to help you out; http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/strip.php?item=ETStreetRadial
