RedM
Both Tom and Michael are correct. I was hoping for more of a full deletion (a la Michael) but I've settled for a Tom-style deactivation for now.

michael
Ooh I bet that hurts. Not really because it's not true - the requirement stated was for deletion of an account but anyway... etc
RedM
Not really because it's not true - the requirement stated was for deletion of an account but anyway... etc I don't agree. While I had initially wanted a deletion, the amount of work that required was more effort than I wanted to expend. That might be an intentional thing on the part of Facebook. I settled for a deactivation and I will be keeping an eye out for anything Facebook related that comes my way as I opted out of everything. So, when Michael posted details for deleting an account he was correct. However, Tom and his post about just deactivating the account were also correct. It seems to be the easiest option but only time will tell if it is enough.
michael
That's like asking for a plate of chips, getting it brought out to the table and then deciding you want mash *sigh*
Whitesupraboy2
Facebook is great if you dont use it as a competition to get as many friends as possible. Ive been able to look at pictures of me at school that old friends had added. Catch up with people I havent seen in years. Also get in contact with people from college, scout Group, Fishing Club etc... People you just lose contact with who its nice to know are doing well. Of course its only usefull if you have friends
keancy
I enjoy Facebook it's good fun with all the different games and other interactions. Also it's all none compulsory. If someone sends you something you don't want you just ignore it, it's not as if it is forced upon you. Thanks to all of you guys who added/let me add in the last few days. michael
Whoah! Whoah! Back up people, butter first and a bit of mashing action to make sure it penetrates the dry interior. Then you can start loading the rest.
