If your turbos do go pop I think they are close to £2k for anew set. It is cheaper to get a new set of Hybrids. Or ask in the wanted section.

I'm going to say no you wouldn't need a restrictor ring.

I would say 'Yes' I have a nur spec R exhaust and removed the stock first cat but kept the second cat in place. The restriction of the standard second cat was/is not enough to hold boost back to a sensable level (in my case anyway). I saw 18-20 psi and it was still climbing until fuel cut occured so now I use a restrictor ring aswel. I take it you have or are going to install an after market cat back exhaust aswel. . . Anyway if the stock cat cant hold boost back a high flow sports cat wont.

What Fuel Cut Defender/Boost Cut Defender do you have fitted? Provided you have a fuel cut defender that raises the fuel cut rather than completely removes it, the worst you will do is hit fuel cut.

HKS removes fuel cut totally (so an HKS FCD is not reccomended)
