Pete
Back in the days when clubs were clubs and there was a great underground music scene. It's all far too commercialised nowadays.
tooquicktostop
Agreed, I remember queuing at Camden Palace and Astoria back in the late 80's very early 90's  Also remember (kind of !) some great events in fields in the middle of knowhere, that underground scene will be hard to match again

Wez
Back in the days when clubs were clubs and there was a great underground music scene. It's all far too commercialised nowadays. I know exactly what you mean, I remember driving up and down the country to visit clubs like Cream, Q Club etc etc following DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Tony di Vit and Seb Fontaine. The same thing happened with the CDs, the older Cream, Gods Kitchen and Renaissance albums were great but all the new ones are just dodgy tracks you hear on the radio day in day out. The likes of Fabric etc is still very much underground although I havent been for a few months and the music is an aquired taste.
