suprasurrey
I`ve had several cars before I got a Supra. The worst was a Renault Megane 2.0 16valve coupe, the best was a Triumph TR7. The TR was a left hand drive convertible that was imported from Texas. Looking back, I must have spent more time removing rust from it than actually driving it:rolleyes:
thedirtycat
Yer I know mate its crazy... I work for my car and buy not much else. Its what I do.. Proper petrol head I'm not well paid just spend near on all my earning on car mods since I was 17... You must be on a pretty decent wage. It seems to cost so much just to live. That's why I'm still living with my mum haha. I started with a Peugeot 106 1 litre which was very slow but reliable. Then upgraded to a golf tdi 1.9 litre which was a really great car with more power and a radio etc. Then I got my supra and not long after got a boost controller for it. I do miss the golf though. Just being able to quickly go through town, not worrying about speed bumps etc. and also being able to park anywhere like outside my house. Hate having to park all the way down the end of my road where there are no big curbs. Having said that its amazing driving the supra with the windows down in summer and hearing that turbo spool and flutter

downimpact
mine is simple Corolla AE82 (I think) 1.3 12v hand me down - proud of those 12v's for a D reg - Scrapped due to rusted fuel pipe (great car though) Renault 5 1.4 Campus - God awful car, which got written off over Ice and a telegraph pole Renault Clio 1.2 Bebop - Better than the 5, though probably less power, but at these levels it's very subjective - Scrapped due to numerous MOT failures Supra RZ - As per my garage and still my P&J BMW 320 - This was a £400 minter with welded diff, much joy was had, though changing wheels became impossible as the jack was going through the rusted sill repeatedly - Scrapped for £100 (cheap fun motoring) Auris (hire car) - made me realise why new cars are crap, terrible driving position, stupidly high ride, very disappointed with toyota - back to hire company to buy Skyline R33 GTS 2.5 - Still have (though for sale shortly), been a very reliable car and done lots of motorway miles in it Toyota Supra SZ - As per my garage, still my daily runner for now. Just to add never sold a car yet.
scorling
Since 1976 Beetle - brilliant first car Hillman Avenger - worst British made car in history (and there were plenty of other contenders in the 70's) Lancia HPE - bought in 1980 when I qualified as an accountant - despite the reputation, did 90,000 miles in three years and never once let me down and not a spot of rust Capri S 3litre - wish I had kept that BMW 323i - faultless BMW 635CSi - total nightmare BMW 325i Sport - bought new in 1987 sold for scrap in 1999 280,000 miles later J spec TT - totally stock and faultless until I blew up the engine, my fault but did 180,000 miles in six years Renault Kangoo van - still got it, had it five years and its done 200,000 miles, not all driven by me J spec TT - a glorious moneypit, wouldn't swap it for anything Ten cars in 37 years, must be the best part of a million miles driven, no moving accidents and apart for the nightmare 635 and the first Supra (which blew up on my drive), never broken down. Never had a puncture until this Supra, had three in the first six months of owning it. Had a charmed life I think!

Jord
First car was a 2000 1.4 ford focus which I'm surprised is still going and is driven by my sister's boyfriend.
