Pot
ok so we will have to 'bend' the rules a bit.......my car might break down or run out of fuel I did consider that... It's not hard to make a car 'inoperable' in a way it can be easily fixed Good luck You'd end up having to pay the towing charge to remove your car out of the way, and still get done by the Police. Which is why I'm thinking this should be moved to another section on this forum that the, erm, look, move it

RiceRocket
How about 200 supras running out of fuel in the centre of london ....THAT will get our message across plain as day hehe Surely you should use "plainer" cars? Are onlooking people actually going to think " Aww look at those poor chaps with their 'supercars' running out of petrol due to exorbitant prices?" Suprash
Someone said that the last times this was planned and not actioned, nobody listened then either Im sorry guys, Im with Micheal on this one, if I had a pound for everytime someone posted about this, or a new petition that was flying about, or re-posting the already posted to death idea about not using Esso or BP then I probably wouldnt have to worry about the rising costs in fuel cause Im sure I would have enough money to fuel my Supra for the next 10 years...... Even if we did get something organised where 200 Supra's trawl through London, are the goverment really going to take notice of us, I very much doubt they will. And Im sorry if this provocks the response of "well if everyone had that attitude then we would get no where", but unfortunately I think this is just the world we live in now, maybe Im too much of a realist but even if everyone stopped buying petrol from BP and Esso, how much of an impact would that have on two of the biggest players, like Rosie said its not just from fuel, there are so many over factors of where their profits come from like energy supplies etc, other countries income etc....... Im not pissing on anyones fire, but like its been said before and many times before that, we will throw a few ideas about and nothing gets achieved, and like I said even if we did organise something I honestly doubt the goverment are suddenly going to change things on the basis of a group of Supra owners...... I see what you're saying, but it's that attitude and feeling of hopelessness that results in us the people being so passive and easy to roger up the backside. I have a similar attitude to yours, but I would be very proud and pleased if these guys did go and do a protest, whether people really took notice or not. Same here, respect to them for actually trying to do something instead of just talking about it. If everyone who talk's about this actually took part then it should make a difference. Carl_S
I agree with the rise in tax prices, it means that the supra will become more rare, and only richer or more petrol heady people will be driving them, and hopefully get more attention, should be better for the environment too. Gaz6002
I think a mass Supra protest wouldn't change things. It would sure as hell ruffle a few feathers though, especially if the targets we planned logistically. Kind of like what the Shell delivery contractors did
