Scott
Good afternoon, My Supra is fully catted up, what power difference can be obtained by decatting? Are there any obvious flaws doing this? MOT for example? Cheers guys More noise, free'er revving, probably less torque (i think thats right with N/A's). As for MOT's i don't think its as much of an issue for N/A's but its always good to have a friendly MOT tester.
hoff
He has an n/a In that case there maybe some disagrement:rolleyes: Some say decatting an NA will result in a loss of back pressure and therefore power, where as others will say its fine. I have removed my 2nd cat and didnt really feel a lot of differance TBH. One thing is for sure though if you remove both cats on an NA it will be loud:eyebrows: Have a look at Nic's (Import Pimp) section. He does a manifold and 1st decat which helps bph increase:)
