Mariusz
Hi guys Yesterday i was driving and all of a suddern a wierdly pitched sound proceeded to come from the front end.. like a whine It increases significantly as i turn the steering wheel to full lock, i thought it cud be power steering related... power steering works ok and the noise is kinda syncd to reving the engine? Hard to explain

Mariusz
Could be your power steering pump though. If its low on power steering fluid could that be the problem?
turbonut
Have you checked there's no play in the pulleys? Has your aux belt worn or become loose/split? Whining could be a whole host of problems, could indicate bearing wear or even something catching? Does it affect the performance? Can you do a vid and post it on this thread? Nic
It may just be low steering fluid, air in the system or pump on the way out. With the car idling top up fluid and turn wheel lock to lock to bleed the system. Hopefully that will do the trick.
