Scott
Are stock CAT pipes worth anything? Getting my car de-catted tomorrow and wondering whether its worth while holding onto them to sell or just to bin them? I'm pretty sure i won't need them as i have a few friendly MOT testers who can take care of the car. thanks

hiten55
worth keeping the 2nd one, just incase your friendly tester gets banned (mine did) or moves etc...
Scott
I can't keep them here as i don't have the space or i would lend them out from time to time. I'll just let the garage do what they want with them then lol.

bolarbag
The first one isnt worth anything, as its steel [or iron...cant remember] core, the 2nd is the lucrative one, with all those nice metals, but not sure who buys them in Glasgow,

Jamesy W
As in for scrap? It's probably more hastle than it's worth to scrap the thing tbh mate. You would prob waste more money in petrol than you would get back for it.
Pixelfill
I would have been interested in the 2nd cat if you were closer, mine is rusting quite badly. Mike

Al Massey
it depends whats inside the cat as down here in suffolk there has been a spate of thefts of cats off allsorts of vehicles to take down the scrappy to sell on, i did know of a company in warminster that pays £40 for any cat and they go to all the garages claiming to dispose of them properly

As long as its £20 or less to post i'll let it go Don't think many people will be interested in the 1st so i'll stick that on ebay.
