One day insurance ??

I have found a few companies willing to insure me for the day on my NA Supra, it is a gift for the GF when she passes her test and as I have 2 other cars insured at present I dont fancy paying for another for the year, the current insurance system means I pay almost full price for a third car so not worth it, will become second driver when my GF insures in June (after passing her driving test hopefully)

Has anyone used these services of one day cover before??, it is just incase my other Supra is not finished I dont want to miss out on Japfest and the NA went through the MOT today so it is ready !

Im insured with Admiral, i just phoned them up they provided me with temp insurance on a new car i bought and i paid on a per day basis for the cover (i had a week in total).

I bought a cheap 4x4 for camping trip, surely your insurance offers this? you shouldnt need to go to other companies. Think i paid about £50 for a weeks cover on it fully comp......

Also i got the insurance on the day i wanted to drive it, no notice was requried.
