marc_p
im sure the pc brigade will turn up soon and spout the usual "leave it to the police", "its better to report it" etc etc. Wow I didn't realise we have so many vigilantes lurking on the forum. Isn't it surprising how they emerge with wild and wonderful ideas about what they would do without a thought or care in the world about the consequences? A new low methinks. 12 1/2 hours until PC brigade turned up
hiten55
12 1/2 hours until PC brigade turned up to be honest i think most of the answers / suggestions on here are merely fairytales in that most would not be carried through. more an idea of what we SHOULD do as opposed to what we would do. its a way of venting. strange way but a way never the less. most sensible reaction would be from And1c, regarding the cctv. now the law may not do much with cctv footage. but if you know where said offenders live, go to the house and show it to "daddy". trust me, an asian parent will not take too kindly to being shown up this way and said child will get a pasting of his life, daddy will offer you compo, and child will be sent back home to be put on the right track again this may seem like another fairytale but trust me, this stuff happens in our culture. the parents hate being ashamed and the kid will get whats comming to him. of course, its not ALWAYS the case, so dont go alone
jonahjones26
guys, long story short, had the missus car windows smashed on 4 occasions, each time wasnt able to get up in time to catch em. however turns out one of them has a big mouth and has been overheard bragging about how him and his crew mug people and also did this car 4 times, this bragging was going on outside my missus kids school, small world, and turns out one of them is a boyfriend of my eldest friends, so a name will be forthcoming. Now was wondering how i could get an address from car reg so i can exact some sweet revenge. Right i can get you a transit van all you need to bring is duct tape a snooker ball in sock (old cons trick) and a shovel. oh! and dont forget to bring beers could be a long weekend! simbasupra
Just had a quick look on the internet, it appears you can get the address if you phone up the DVLA with a "good" excuse. Apparantly they have a list of "good" exuses and if your reason for finding out is on the "good" list they will give it to you. Unfortunately i don't know the list. So you would feel happy about them giving someone your details with a "good excuse"? Plus the data protection act would have a big problem if this was the case. LOL Even if your friendly with plod or the doovla they risk loosing their job if they get caught doing something like that but there are ways. bluecoup
if they are into mugging, dress as a old granny, and hang round same area as they do then when attacked exact some revenge lol
razza
Wow don't hold back:p NO baseball bat removeth teeth and kneecaps add salt and repeat. lol! old running joke with my mates, when I used to mess around with them. after you've got the guy to the floor, take his shoes then proceed to beat them with them, even better if they're heavy work boots, not so great if they're flip flops:D Pretty embarrasing to get done over with your own shoes, it's more of an ownage thing then inflicting devasting pain....there's plenty more options for that that I won't go into on here:eyebrows:

Rob
i do remember finding a form on the DVLA website, u have to fill in this long a$$ form the length of the great wall of china, and u need to specify a "reasonable reason" as to why u want the registered keepers details and for what purpose etc etc.. my advice is, follow them after school find out which house they get into, and set off a firework and throw it through their letterbox This is correct. It's how various landowners are able to issue tickets to people who have parked in their spaces outside business etc. I heard recently it was £2.50 per application. http://www.dvla.gov.uk/media/pdf/forms/d785.pdf is teh letter and form. It does seem to require you to be a registered Company, rather than an individual.
Snooze
I think you should report it to the police. The police will then turn up and arrest the culprits, the courts will extract appropriate compensation for you and will then punish them appropriately and the police will subsequently maintain a good watch on them to ensure that they do not re-offend. I'm sure that's what will happen.
