Guest dangerousandy Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 its a 5 speed, it might not be the best box in the world mate, but its was something my dad did, and the reason he chose those parts was 1) because he didn't have much money 2) because he wanted to keep it Triumph parts. and I'm very proud of what he did. And so you should be! I was not knocking what your dad did, quite the opposite!! I like it and I used to be a huge BL fan! I was just stating that the transmission is from a saloon and not quite the piece of kit a Getrag is for example. It looks very nice and you should be very proud of it and your Dad. AndyT Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 Had to skim a couple Dolly Sprint heads in the past. Hard to set them up. 45 degrees. Sheesh. Also the ally rots really badly if you don't always have anti freeze in. But you knew that anyway. That will be a little rocket when you finish. Good luck.
