Ian R
Well I know what a rep these centres can have but have to say the service I got was top notch over last two days. The fitters had an appreciation for my Supe took it to have new tyres fitted to the wheels a bought off CJ. All was going well when fitting GSD3's when it was time for the fronts to go on the nuts off my old alloys where too big to get into the hole on a socket. So only option was to have smaller nut heads. So popped down to broklyn Toyota who where about as usefull as a chocolate fireguard. Went back to Kwik Fit to explain couldn't source nuts with smaller head. So the guys phoned around and managed to find someone who could do them with 17mm heads to fit hole. Problem was couldn't get them till this mo so they locked my car inside when I returned this morning they had recieved the nuts fitted wheels put free chrome valve stems and caps on for the incovenience. They even left the car on the ramp so I could guide them off as they where worried about clearance on VS bumper. Was well chuffed so gave them a tip to have a couple of pints
Jake
Good to hear. Lots of folks slag off KwikFit but I've always had good service at my local branch. I get all my oil changes done at KwikFit and they fitted my decat pipes to both my Supras. I don't buy my tyres there though because they're too dear. The branch near to where I work is staffed by a load of unhelpful fuckwits but the one near where I live is really good.
Scoboblio
Got to say I've had good service from the local branch too, they were the only people I could find to fit my exhaust on the same day as it arrived. I have heard some horror stories though, like the guy on the mondeo forum who took his st200 in to have a tyre changed... they took off three of the four wheelnuts, then proceeded to bash the rim with a rubber mallet because they thought it was stuck on
ewizzy
Ive heard and seen the results of kwikfit..... Brakepads fitted the wrong way round with the pad material AWAY from the disk face!!! I would NEVER take my Supra to these monkeys!!!!

RICHARDA
Kwik fit stores do seem to get tarred with the same brush. I work there part time whilst studying a vehicle technicians course at college and I have also witnessed the horror stories! At the end of the day the work is only as good as the person who is working on your car - lucky dip. Rich
