Thanks for that mate captain chaos just mailed me back and his is sold, Ganna strip it again tomorrow, also got new coil packs and igniter coming so if that dont sort it i might have to take you up on your kind offer..Many Thanks Off to road test now as also done a bit tonight (cleaned out map sensor) Reset a few things, gonna do a datalog run on the aem too might give me some clues! StuartW Posted May 14, 2008 Author Share Posted May 14, 2008 Okay well in desperation i looked at my N/A one i had spare, It looked the same apart from the valve tit size. I swapped the valve seat by simply unscrewing it and fitted it with nothing to loose. The car was instantly transformed to a "Like new" idle Would not idle before below 1250rpm and would take up to 60 secs of full throttle cranking to start when hot!! StuartW Posted May 27, 2008 Author Share Posted May 27, 2008 The N/A one was smaller and i think it has a weaker mechanism inside as it doesn't have to cope with boost pressure, My Diaphram is fine just need the black motor part if anyone has one spare please? Can you post a piccy of what you need, as I still have the Turbo bits from the engine I sold you and probably have one knocking around in there.
