JohnnyW
Not too bad then, a bit OTT on the thread title Good to see you taking responsibility for it, you got off lightly this time. Be careful out there.

R Black
Actually I'm impresed the guy has owned up to "I was titting about and cocked it up, all my fault". No imaginary diesel, drunk drivers, or people trying to ram him off the road. Yup respect for taking it on the chin & admitting you fcuked up. Homer
Well fair play on you for accepting you messed up, lesson learnt and all that... have managed the same a few years ago showing off, except that was on the public road I would expect you'd be best off replacing everything on that side of the car and making sure the suspension mountings on the subframe haven't been damaged. The hub is almost certain to be warped as is everything on that side with the sort of impact to do that much damage - Upper wishbone (alu one) - Lower rear wishbone - Lower front wishbone - Trailing arm - Hub - Driveshaft and then a re-allignment
merckx
yeah thanks, it was on a building development not open to the public. it was stupid thing to do but im sure that everyone here has broken the laws of the road a few times. some of us like to learn the hard way and experience these blunders for ourselves and not get all righteous than thou... I apollogise. If you want to do that sort of stuff on private property I haven't got a problem with it at all, be careful though
