hogmaw
Looking at the high performance audis, bmw m3/5/6, skyline gtr etc etc, all of them have a badge on the back to show their quality. Do you think it is time that we sort out an 'official' BPU badge or ST (single turbo) that will fit under or next to the Supra badge on the back? At the moment an n/a looks like a single or a tt and at a glance there is no way to tell the difference
Kopite
Leave it a mystery IMO I prefer debadged completely anyway although mine's covered in them still

Keep them guessing Out of interest, would any NA owners be interested in an "NA" badge?
marcAB10
the funny thing is if I see a car such as a supra that didn't come with a standard turbo badge, with an aftermarket turbo badge on it, i'm more inclined to believe the opposite. As in it must be a N/A if there trying to prove something. Also the same as any debadged skyline makes me think it must be a GTS as why would you remove the cars defining feature? The almighty GTR badge I can see people debadging for the sleeper look but cars such as the supra or skyline look bludy fast, badge or not Just me? Just you You see the Supra came with one option only - the "supra" badge, so unlike your GTR comparison if you make a change it does one of two things: - Extra badge = show off/making out more than it really is (comparision is GTS owners using GTR badges) - Debadge = keep them guessing (or you just like a smoother look)
marcAB10
maybe a subtle sticker on the little windows with a 'single T61' for example would be cool and for people in the 'know' would appreciate.

Fair enough about 'keep them guessing' and I can understand that idea. I still tend to believe the opposite when it comes to aftermarket turbo badges tho. Believe me, if you have such a car there is no need to have a sticker showing off whats under the engine bay Most owners that can afford to do those sort of conversions are not the sort who like to have stickers that show the spec in a car park - for obvious reasons (i..e 99% won't read it/care, 1% think showoff/lier, 0.00000001% think hey thats ***** from the forum, show off )

It doesn't really apply to me anyway... I own a N/A thus I love the fact supras never came with a turbo badge Edited May 11, 2008 by marcAB10 (see edit history)
AgtX80
Well ive always liked jap cars, before i really started at looking to buy a Supra & finding out more about them, i thought they were all twin turbo & id only ever seen 1 or 2 on the road before. Id say most people would assume it was a TT if they didnt know much about them.
Daston
Thing is with the supe they all look the same from the factory, unlike skylines, GTR's had wider rear arches and the GTST's more taxi looking.
drnas78
Debadged let them try there luck and see what they are up against, Mines an NA only not the quickest out the supra range but still i get little kids in micra's and corsa trying to under take or blast of at the lights. CarlT67
I think you should leave it blank, why would you need to tell people what you have, for those in the know the sound alone will give people a good indication, sounds like you maybe a little insecure
