Nothing to see here guys - move along please.

Nobody ever spotted me when my car looked OK (i.e. not a shed) - now everyone's at it. :(

It's my daily driver and work in progress - the plan is that it'll all be fixed by the start of June.:sly:

what happened to it?

Last summer I fitted and blended OEM skirts and spats to a stock silver car. I then sprayed the whole car in silver with a yellow pearl. In the process of flatting down I took off too much lacquer from the roof and ruined it basically. Over the last few months additional damage has occurred:

1) I cracked one of the skirts whilst getting beached on a kerb.

2) Someone else damaged a spat by driving into it.

3) Someone keyed the rear quarter.

4) I knocked over a dog and cracked the paint and lacquer on the front bumper.

5) A few weeks ago some pikeys damaged the drivers door whilst breaking in - hence I now have a white door on a silver(ish) car at the moment.

So, all in all not a very positive last few months of ownership. I'm in the process of tidying up and removing old paint before I can put some more primer back on.

Poor car no TLC shame on the owner

 I've spent over 200 man hours working on this car - if that's not commitment and TLC then I don't know what is. Although to be fair I do sometimes feel embarassed being seen with it in that state.
