Matt H
good on em. its theft plain and simple. p.s before anyone says well they only had a website that others used for illegal activities. then if you think about it this way... the guy driving the getaway car didnt rob the bank, but his still going to take a cut and is sure as hell going down if he gets caught
Matt H
another thought, if the big players just got fined so much they filed for bankruptcy, then the other smaller sites should be sh!tting themselves now.... could this be the start of the end for torrent sites based in america? Matt H
Probably thats why most are based in countries that don't have laws for software piracy btw, every country in the world that anybody would give a cr&p about piracy in has laws against it, its more like the enforcement of those laws thats the issue
Veilside
this is minor really...the big boys such as tpb are based in sweden! where the piracy laws are a grey area,,,and they getaway with it easily. sweden is not only a hub of beautiful blonde beenies but a safe haven for all these dodgy sites mainly coz their internet facilities are soo advanced they had 10mbit back in the day when we were just all on dialup!
