turnerjr Posted May 8, 2008 Share Posted May 8, 2008 Just got my car back from its regular check from the toyota specialist i use and have been told that a piston in one of my callipers is possibly seized. They said that i would need a new calliper but surely they can just been reconditioned with the appropriate parts from toyota? Ive reconditioned the brakes on my capri which was pretty simple but has anyone done them on a supra as i imagine they are quite difficult. Do you need any special tools or anything? any help would be greatly appreciated as i guess brand new callipers are bloody expensive! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its a simple job, buy a refurb kit, and possibly new pistons depending on condition of them, when removed. refurb kits are around £30. I actually have one for the front brakes if it is those that need doing.
