Daston
Hi guys Got a new set of plates and the only option was a 4x4 plate for the rear. This is to big and I was wondering what the best way is to trim it down to size
Dave Haggas
Very easy.Measure on BOTH sides where you want the cut line. Hold a straight edge, pref a metal rule (if you doubt your skills double sided tape the rule to the number plate ).Using a stanley knife with a new blade score a line on the number plate.Re score this 3-4 times.Put the rule the opposite side and do the same thing.Using a pair of pliers holding them close to the line, snap off the unwanted piece, sand smooth to finish. Just be careful with the first cut, good pressure and a firm grip....

I was thinking of using a saw but that sounds far easier and cleaner
