simbasupra
I have the standard supra alarm and when finishing work went to get in, but couldn't:( The indicators were flashing but the door locks weren't operating. Had to use the key in the end and it did turn off the alarm. It is now ok however don't want to experience this again. Can anyone think of a reason why it would do this? Chris Wilson
They don't seem to NEED a reason, they just go berserk when they get older. I have had some hassle here with them. Probably best getting it removed before it causes some real grief.

I've got a clifford of some sort. The only issues I've had so far: the dash LED has stopped working so I can't fiddle with the settings (god help me if I need to!), and it once didn't work the central locking (the immobiliser, indicators and chirps all worked, but not the locks). The lock issue has only happened once though in nearly 18months. I had it fitted because the factory alarm wasn't operating the passenger door and was generally becoming tempermental. I wouldn't have an alarm on my own cars, except maybe for an OE one that's major trouble top unpick, even impossible for some far too clever immobilisers, it's too much hassle.
