AdzC
I think the time has come to get rid of the cr@p stuck on speedo face which the dealer I bought the car off stuck on when I got the car 21/2 years ago. Especially as it reads about 10% higher than my actual speed. I would like to know which is the recommended DSC and TSD. I am swaying toward the Thor one but would like to know if there is any way of keeping the odometer reading in KM so as to keep the integrity of the mileage as much as possible. Also advice on a set of dials to replace the existing ones whilst i'm at it. Thanks in advance. Adam
jamesmark
Iirc you can still fit the Thor unit and have it counting in KM. Best to phone them, Thor also do replacement SS dials and they are very nice quality.
SteveR
The Thor unit has a 1:1 output as well as the 5/8ths (i.e. miles instead of kms) output. To keep counting in km, just connect the 1:1 signal to the odo instead of the 5:8 signal.
Jay_vr6
Yep I have a thor one sitting on my desk here, the instructions allow you to, just de-limit, change the mph, and either kms or mls.
