I imagine it would do a tiny bit right - if you are filing done casting joints etc. Just wondering wouldnt of thought it would be an issue, doubt the castings are made to any great degree of tolerance that is affected by the small amount taken off. lol... sorry mate!! i used some small bits that look like small mops to use with a hand machine type thing(sorry dont know the name)... are we talking felt bobbins here or sisal mops such as http://www.perfectpolishingkits.co.uk/mvc_005fa.jpg i have been toying with getting a flexible shaft type arrangement to fix onto my bench grinding machine as the dremmel thing i have aint man enough, but there pretty pricey to get if its not gona be suitable..
