China Man
For those who join the recent group buy, here are some picture of my DIY install. All photo have not been altered except reduce in file size. I used a sony DSC T1 with flash turned off, it is a lousy camera for night I didn't unplug the 2nd HID bulb when I fitted the old bulb in the car as I don't know if running just 1 HID bulb would affect it power, brighter if only using 1 HID bulb? About 6 feet from my front wall. Sorry I can't do a picture with both normal bulbs as my passanger side headlight is packed with wire and I couldn't get the bulb off with out having to remove a lot of installed wires. I drove the car to a near by car park which is dark and cold and doggy and ......anyway Can you see there is a lot detail missing from the first picture? It is like some part of the road and marking disappeared Last but not least , for the Max People out there, The White is better then the yellow! I will not comment on how good or crap this HID gurop is. The reason is being I have not seen any other Supra with another brand of HID yet. I hope to see some in the next big meet, BoxHill? So far I am happy with it. I see more of the road and it looks nice at any angle. I have the Plastic JSpec headlight and I a UK Glass headlight is high in my mod list and I am sure that will add some brightness to the HID. I am also going to Mr Nice's shop to get some electrical stuff done and may be he will be able to help to to fit the kit professionally as my DIY skill is less than 1 spanner refer to Haynes. There are a lot of HID kits out there and anyone who wants one should choose carefully. I don't think this kit is fake philips stuff, I think is re-badge IMO. I wanted a 6000k/8000k but was adviced not to as the 5000k is brighter. I wonder if that is really the case? then again I have nothing to compare with. Please lets have some constructive comment here. I did spent half an hour in the cold to take these picture and I hope it will settle some worries with members. Whitesupraboy2
im quite impressed with that to be honest, there is a obvious difference and looks clearer like you said. you can see that by simply looking at amount of detail shown on the floor by the HID's Good job mate
China Man
White light with a hint of blue will fit a white supra nicely
Terminator
Your lamps look to be adjusted a little low. At 25 feet the beam cut off should be the same hight as the center of the lamp glass. They look like they give a good beam much better than stock lamps.

toyotasuprauk
I think they look much better in terms of the overall look of the car. They also look much brighter on the road. Agree your beam does seem to be too low. Very easy to adjust yourself with a spanner.

Performa
they look quite an improvement to me, as to the sugguestion of the 5000k which is with a long reserach of the road legal limit as well as colour of the light, pure white lights does gives a better visibility. maybe i shall get hold of a 6000k to compare the two in the future,. china man, with your promission could i use your pictures for some reference and maybe shown on our website? (with number plate blank off) regards Peter
