far
just a quick point. if you guys would have left it 72 hours (i think thats the time period) and she didn't report it you could have gone to the police and she could have got done for failing to report an accident, similar thing happened to my wifes car when it got hit outside our house by the pizza boy (who did a runner), the neighbour got the reg but I went to the police the next day - the police said as it hadnt been 72 hours they couldnt 'do' them for failing to report an accident - they did however visit Dominoes pizza and spanked the delivery boy and got the insurance details for me I would be straight down the cop shop with the vehicle details demanding they verify the insurance details, as procedure they will check she has a license and is insured etc...and if she isnt shes in trouble

Guest dangerousandy
UPDATE: I rang up Octagon Toyota yesterday to book my Supra in for a quote and the very helpful lady I spoke to said that they use an accident mangement company who will deal with the claim on my behalf. Better still, there is no excess to pay and I will get a like-for-like replacement vehicle whilst mine is being repaired!! I told her that she might have trouble finding me a like-for-like vehicle as I own a Supra TT! she laughed and said the vehicle could be a 350Z or similar....... Anyway, the Accident Management company celled me about half hour later and took the details and I am now awaiting a response. Still haven't told Direct Line to cancel the claim through the insurance! This is all such a pain in the ar5e for something that was not my fault. Like for like is always an interesting one, they tend to just give you a nice car due to the Supra being pretty worthless now, I doubt you'll get anything too exciting. My "like for like" experience with the Supra: VW Touran TDi 130 VW Golf GT TDi Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 "Life" Hope you do a bit better but to be fair the VW Golf was a lot of fun. RiceRocket
My accident management company gave me a BMW 325 M Sport, I thought it was a M3 at first because it was plastered in their logos. It was still crap though
Guest dangerousandy
******UPDATE****** I am a very happy chappy at the moment!! I got a call from Accident Exchange (the company dealing with the claim) and they informed me that the 'woman' who hit my car has owned up and admitted liability!!! My Supra is booked in at Octagon Toyota on thursday to be fully repaired (and fully resprayed I hope!!) and I have also been told what my like-for-like courtesy car is: "...we tried to get you a Nissan 350Z but couldn't get hold of one, so we have alocated you a Lexus GS300 automatic". The GS300 is one of my favourite cars so I well excited about getting my hands on it!!!
