Pig
Accident accident wont take claim on help hire will i can refer you to them mates got good terms with them via his company ...... or we can place you via britannia who are also very good got an excellent contact in there they will sort it out inc courtesy vechile pm me if you want What a crazy thing to say.....why wouldnt they? I would recommend britannia 100 times over helphire. Andy: The reason why i suggested an accident mgmt company was not for a hire car (although you will prob have to take one) but so it doesnt go through / affect your own insurance. They will get the claim settled before you get the car repaired. No excess and no fighting to get it off your insurance (e.g needs to be marked as all excess etc fully recovered. drnas78
i phoned accident exchange about 7 months back they said they used to deal with people direct but not any more due to the amount of work they only deal with registerd body shops, Britannia customer service is good polite and helpful but when dealing wth an incident for a mate recently thought helphires servcie was not very good the attitude of the depot mainly is the down fall. Guest dangerousandy
i am sure you could drum up a witness(your mate that you have never seen before) which will lead to a clear cut case?? Me, my mate, his GF and two lads who were in a RX-7 all witnessed it and I took the photo's straight away............. how do I go about this accident management business??? BASHTHEBISHOP
just contact your insurer with all those witness details. As long as all the versions of events match up shes done for.

Homer
What a nightmare Andy, but there's no reason for you to come out at a loss here. As others have mentioned, you can either go via your ensurer to chase the claim against the other party, or better yet use an accident management company. Pig would be a very good guy to speak to if you need honest advice.

I am on the warpath now:angry: Good for you, I'm rooting for you. Her mum sounds like one of these Teflon-coated people with sloping shoulders who try to shrug off responsibility. And why do people get their parents/partners to do their "bidding" for them? If I was in an accident, I wouldn't get one of my parents to phone up on my behalf. Pathetic.
