God we will be having walnut dash's installed soon.

nah, i just dont like to look like a moron chav out to impress 12 year old girls, thats all :)

i get my fun from having a fast car, not from making my car look like a shopping trolley shed a la paxo, novas and all the other chavmobiles :twak:

Bad, buy a space ship, Nova, Saxo or any other shed. Use Christmas tree lights, fluffy dice, nodding dogs, waving hands, football scarves, a big windscreen sticker with Dick and Head across the front, some plastic carbon fibre look a like number plate lettering, a horn that plays Robbie Williams numbers on a tin whistle, snap off your ariel and stuff a coat hanger in the hole.

BUT what ever you do, do not put Neons under your car you will loose all credibility on here.

IMHO it will always look like a first car type mod, waste of money, time and a good car.

The supra is a fantastic car, a GT, a super car, an incredible piece of engineering don't turning it into a joke, by using it as a bulb holder.

It may be down to personal taste but I can just imagine the Porsche, TVR and Ferrari owners all debating the pros and cons of coloured lamps under their cars to add that bit of class.

i really do feel dirty at the mere thought of fitting neons to my supra - god it makes me want to wince in agony :(

It really isn't a big mod and they can installed and removed fairly quickly and I forget I have em, only ever use them on very special occasions when I want to impress 12 year old girls.

Seriously...I dont take myself too seriously...and I would especially love to put undercar lighting on a Murcialago and take it on the Gumball..

At the end of the day though (and dont want to upset anyone) but I drive a Supra.....not a Maclaren F1.

When i first bought a Supra they were over £30k nowadays they go for the same as Novas did back then.......so whats the harm in dressing it up like a Nova he he.

I'll get my multicolored dreamcoat.

P.S. Oi Hadyn you are not one of those who have put a Ferrari badge on their car by any chance are You he he

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm performance mods or spend money on flashing lights to impress little girls and live out Fast and Furious fantasies on council estates......

bit of a no-brainer where my money would go me thinks :)

I have performance mods just put the LEDs on for a laugh and I was brought up on a council estate...not ashamed of it either...

I dont like the washer jet lights they look shit but i have seen Porsche carrara 996's with them (class climbers have them too )

LED undercar lighting looks ok if they match the colour of car...always go down a treat on forign Supra trips driving through Amstadam at night or Madrid he he and Chav mentality and Class is not such a big issue on the continent....(but only for show use really)

Yes they look shit on a Nova i agree and have a swtich to turn them on and off also have serious engine mods plus HIDs and Alpine DVD Sat Nav and Ice install..though not too much into body styling as I like the Supras original shape..look great on the westend Cruises at night...its only a laugh...I'd rather be like a Chav than an old git with Wannabe aspirations ..(not aimed at you) but yeah when i get my next car I wont have them, but I think they suit the Supra and the Subculture that i am part of...

That was thought of the day with the Rev Green Peace on Mkivsupra FM

I'm going to get white LEDs eventually, low on the list at the moment though. Dunno what the problem is really. And what's wrong with copying the Fast and the Furious anyway? It's a good film with good cars in it, I love the attention I get in the Supe, so even better if lighting gives me more attention.

A few people have Veilside spoilers on their cars. Personally, I think their hideous. Looks like a damn ironing board! :p :) Maybe it's allow people to iron their clothes at meets. Lol! But having the Veilside does that make them a one of the burberry masses ? Don't think so.

Each to their own. If everybody liked the same thing - the world would be a very dull and boring place. Personally, I love the neon look - but the colour has to match the car and the LEDs or tubes have got to be properly hidden away.

I'm not sure if I like them or not, was thinking about some light blue neon for my supra, but I am not sure if I like them enough to spend £100's getting them fitted. Plus they are illegal on the road anyway.... I dont know, just wondered what everyone thought of them.

Matt i'll try and put a picture up later off my phone that has my Black Sup with Blue lights. They are only illegal if you can see the bulbs, but to tell you the truth the police don't seem to be to worried. Don't know if that's because it's a supra or because they can't be arsed.

And as Clarkey said "If everybody liked the same thing - the world would be a very dull and boring place".

Personally I think that in the right situation (i.e, at a car cruise) they can look very good, but driving about with them on all the time or just for the sake of it is a no no in my book.

Then again I have got LEDs under mine so I would say that :innocent:

One place they always kick a**e though is in the footwells to give you a nice glow when the door opens
