richard cash
i want my dash retrimminng but cant figure out how to remove the bloody thing. Ive removed the seats, carpet and centre console where the gear stick is. Ive also removed the plastic surround that goes around the dials and stereo etc. Ive also removed the A pillar covers. Surely there cant be much left...
Pete
Remove ash tray by opening and pulling up. Pull up surround of ash tray. That reveals some screws for the main dash. There are other screws similar on the other dash parts but generally it all just pulls off (without too much effort so don't go ripping off the lugs!) Smellywelshman
It really is dead easy mate. I can take mine off in less than 5mins now (followed Hecklers guide first time!) If you take off the warning light cluster holder thingmybob (bit that goes right over the top of the dash) first, you can see the other screws that you need to undo. stevie_b
Try searching for when whitesupraboy2 changed his heater matrix (mid to late 2007), I think he did a write up of what he had to remove in the cabin.
