Guest RHDSupra203
I posted a thread in "The Spirited Driving Chronicles" and i have ONE reply... i posted this a while back too, it's still on the first page but no one seems to even take a look at it. I THINK it's because i wasn't driving my Supra, i was driving my Turbo Integra. I even spent a little time making sure i spared no detail to the best of my knowlege. *sigh* Is this the case? Is it becuase there's no Supra in it?

Scott
They have their place but i'm definitely not a fan. If i was to have one it would be an accord type-r. Would be my family car though.
Jake
I'd put it down to your bragging writing style. All that about your "perfectly rev matched down shift" and "front mount chillin' in the front of my car" etc makes you sound a bit of a tool. HTH
Gazboy
I rarely read the chronicals as there are too many tall stories contained within. I doubt it's the marque that is the problem, if someone can write well they will always get a response or questions or sometimes asked to write more stories. The right person could make their drive to work in a Micra a good read.

HTH Really? i wasn't trying to sound all high and mighty just tellin it how it was. I don't know in the states man my buddies talk about nailing heal-toe downshift all the time. Maybe it's a location thing?

jamesmark
.......to Lying You're amazing, back in the early days. I should have made my post clearer from the simple members of the board. I never go into anymore, not for a long time. How things change.

Is it becuase there's no Supra in it? missed your spirited chronicles post...... regarding your question about hondas. I do like the DC2 ITRs, the Preludes 4th gen (I owned a 5th gen 2.2vti); all pretty impressive although quite gutless when it comes to torque (NSX is a beauty though and still one car that I would love to own). Not a fan of their current models...think they are pretty much tosh.
Darragh
i like hondas but i hate the drivers lol no offense but all i hear is "my vtec will smoke anything" lol
Homer
Why would anyone "hate" another driver because of the car they drive I just don't understand this whole brand hate thing. It seems particularly prevalent with the US guys for some reason. The US based Japanese boards and the US GM/Ford boards I read are the same. It seems to be an import vs domestic thing. Possibly we don't have the same insecurities as pretty much everything is imported

juanchan
I recall a rather vivid write-up in the chronicles section about a member "having a clio172" or similar. Turned out they were in their daily drive (a 106 gti-esque car). It still made a nice write up even though they weren't in a supra. I rarely read the section anymore, as the last time I posted in there I was getting flamed for no apparent reason, so I've avoided it ever since. marcAB10
I absolutly love the older hondas and used to own a B16 delsol. I do think that the newer models are a little guttless tho. I would love to own a DC5 integra, great looking car with awsome reliability.
marc_p
I love my civics, one in my garage, but about to buy another.
Scoboblio
"i could tell his daddy bought him that mustang so he could get pussy at his college i'm sure. OFCOURSE me and my friend start laughing at this fool." "i drop her into 5th and my blow off valve just yells out right next to him as my buddy flips him the bird" Maybe sentences like this are why no-one replied?
