Chris Wilson
Would potential buyers of my MKIV cat replacement pipes like to see a series of pics of the cat removal, and pipe fitting sequences? Seems an obvious thing to have done before, never really considered this. Next time I do one, if people wish, I'll try and get some digi pics for the web site. Maybe same for pad change? Terminator
Thanks for the offer Chris. I am sure a series of pictures would be very helpful, especially accessing the manifold/cat union bolts and refitting the exhaust bracket.
Sharpie
Yes please Thanks Chris.
AJI
That would be great. Chris, I will probably be e-mailing you soon with an order for both cat replacement pipes. I take it that fitting them is something that a non-car-mechanic can do?
Steve W
I've already seen/copied the pics' off mkIV, BUT, although they show the pipes and comparisons etc. they don't really show HOW you do-the-dirty on the nuts+bolts ie access/bits removed/refitted (sensors/brackets etc). What they DO show is how solid/restrictive the cat' internal packing actually is - it looks almost solid ! I would REALLY appreciate that sort of info' as that would help me decide if I am capable, or, it's a MIGHTY CHRIS task ! [ I'd rather let the MASTER do it, but, I'm even too lazy to drive up there ! The money's in my wallet NOW, and, I really want to get them out NOW . oooh, decisions ! ]

He did a very good job, found a fault I didn't know I had and had to replace one of the studs. Its well worth it:D Mmmm, more power:D
