ChrisR
Thats class, i have an African Grey Parrot that talks but a routine like that takes allot of hard work. Ours says Hello, he also knows when we are going to leave the house and says cheerio. Loads of other stuff like Hello mister. He prefers to mimic electronic sounds, microwaves, my GT-Four car alarm, even a police car (rough area) LOL.
Holly
Thats class, i have an African Grey Parrot that talks but a routine like that takes allot of hard work. He prefers to mimic electronic sounds, microwaves, my GT-Four car alarm, even a police car (rough area) LOL. Amazining, perhaps our African Grey should meet yours! Ours sets the house alarm when we're getting ready to leave the house. He also does the R1 bike alarm (which we sold a year ago) and the Volvo's. He does various phone rings (we've had a few over the years!) and still calls the kids by name (even though they've moved out!), he also says ' 'night mum' around bedtime! He laughs at comedys, loves whistling, especially to soul music and classical! He does 'kisses' when one of the cats walks in. Unfortunately he's really not very friendly at all - still love him to bits tho'
SupraStar 3000
My mate has an African Grey and a Boxer dog called Herbie. Some times the parrot calls "Herbie,... Walkies" and the dog rushes off to find his lead and bring it back to the parrot cage. Don't think the bird really understands the parrot can't exactly go and take him for a walk.
