supra_aero
I've been using AVG for years and notice they always use pop ups saying the free version will no longer be supported once a year or so. As the date approaches they suddenly change their minds. A ploy to get more sales I reckon

newbiematt
As AVG free updates finish at the end of the month, which other program is the free AV of choice these days? Here is a useful page from the MoneySavingExpert http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/free-anti-virus-software
Pabs
well I'm on AVG8 and I think it is a pile of poo compared to 7, it tries to download updates before my wifi internet connection is up and complains, and it seems to make my PC a lot slower and crashes more often. Looks like I might need to swap to Avast or something.
ivan
As AVG free updates finish at the end of the month, which other program is the free AV of choice these days? It's only v7 etc that they're not supporting. AVG8 Free will still be able to be updated. well I'm on AVG8 and I think it is a pile of poo compared to 7, it tries to download updates before my wifi internet connection is up and complains, and it seems to make my PC a lot slower and crashes more often.
