stevie_b
i read also somewhere that the uk tanks are bigger, this would be more advantagous to me on my "tank per week" deal. Never heard of an employer paying "a tank per week" before: is it a small firm?

I think I get 35-40p per mile, possibly a bit less with an engine size less than 1500cc. Remember that the mileage rate is supposed to cover wear and tear and depreciation of the car, not just the cost of the motion-lotion.
