kieren1234
Oxygen sensor - Have you tried a new O2 sensor?? Not sure with the ignition signal.
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
i havent tried anything yet as the car is in scotland, am just trying to avoid buying lots of sensors that are not needed.. if it is a simple sensor then i will post the sensor up to scotland.. am just worried it could be the crank sensor and its a little bit bigger job as you need alternator off etc... Steve
Just been having a read through one of CJ's manuals. Code 14 -Ignition Signal Try changing the Igniter, if not then ECU. (Doubt its the ECU) Code 21 - Oxygen Sensor Signal More than likely a faulty Oxygen Sensor. If you need more info on tests you can do, i will scan in the pages from the manuals. hodge
Code 14 I would have thought it would be the coil pack connectors, i had this code and changed the clips never had the problem since. stick the o2 sensor in some lemon juice over night clean it off and refit it and reset ECU. Hope this helps mate.
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
sorted it was ignator pack
kylestt
The O2 sensor you can do an Ohm check on the sensor itself. That will narrow down if its the first or second sensor.
