following this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=148589&highlight=glasgow the car comes out with code 21 and 14

oxgen sensor..

ignition signal..

any gurus that can pinpoint me in the right direction as to what you would do next ?

i want to solve the problem asap.

the customer started his car today and it was fine for 5 minutes then went to limp mode..(again):(

the car is stock it does have a boost controller fitted and also a power blitz meter..

am going to get the car brought back to newcastle to fix it but any help to save time would be a bonus..

so the car wont rev past 2500rpm it and idles fine..

but this morning it decided to be ok for 2 minutes..

what do you suggest to replace ?

thanks

Just been having a read through one of CJ's manuals.

Code 14 -Ignition Signal

Try changing the Igniter, if not then ECU. (Doubt its the ECU)

Code 21 - Oxygen Sensor Signal

More than likely a faulty Oxygen Sensor.

If you need more info on tests you can do, i will scan in the pages from the manuals.

Code 14 I would have thought it would be the coil pack connectors, i had this code and changed the clips never had the problem since.

stick the o2 sensor in some lemon juice over night clean it off and refit it and reset ECU.

Hope this helps mate.
