THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE WHO NEEDS TO RESIZE PICTURES, BUT FOR SOME PEOPLE STILL USING XP AND WOULD LIKE AN EASY SOLUTION TO RESIZING PICTURES EASILY SO THE CAN POST ON THE FORUM

This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click."

 

as it says, install and from then on to resize a picture you right - click the picture, choose resize, choose the size and done

Create an Applescript Droplet :)

 

An alternate method could be to drop pictures into a new Mail.app message, then select a new size for them from the drop down menu in the bottom right, and drag and drop them back out...

good for people who don't know how to do this.

 

i always use 'paint' tho.

 

 

thats what i thought , but read so many posts saying how do you ..? I thought I might offer help to people who might not be so knowledgable in the ways of the world

I find it much easier to do:

 

right-click, open with >, Paint.

Then in paint do ctrl-W and choose the percentage you want.

File, save as...

 

We've started using this tool in work - much quicker than paint and you can select multiple files.
