end of september. First time we've been to the states and just happens to be when SILV (supras invade las vegas) is on.

Wifes face was a picture when I showed her the thread on supraforums last night :sly: :D I honestly didn't know it was on until last night as we had already booked it earlier this week.

We did plan to go on the 4th October which is when it finishes, but the wife moved it a week earlier. Oh dear! :innocent:

I've heard last vagas is full of old people its meant to be americas version of blackpool, my dream if i was to go i get blitzed and end up doing a $100 wedding to some hooker, would be a mint storey to have.

There will be your fair share of grannies wherever you go.

Come to SEMA in Nov mate, you might get your story :D

Hire a car and have a drive down, i am doing the coastal road from LA to san francisco along to yosemite and down through death valley to the grand canyon. I am hiring a convertible for the journey, i have a choice of a 350z, a mitsubishi spyder or a mustang i wanted a corvette but they only give you 700 free miles :(

Im still not sure about whether to stop in vegas or not.

Do you have a link to the SILV show on supra forum so i can see if its worth a stop over?

Yeah, I want to do the Grand Canyon trip too. I dont think a week will be long enough to fit it all in.

If you do the Grand Canyon on your own and not part of a tour you really ought to go to Williams on I40 and get the train to the Canyon, don't be suprised if you see some guys with guns though.

Sedona is also very popular paticularly with the women, lots of indian jewelery for sale and not to expensive. :)

I love Arizona and my next flight leaves on 5 May but only for a couple of weeks this time, want to retire to AZ but her indoors won't leave the rain!!!!!!:(

I've done some of that journey - never got as far as Death Valley or Grand Canyon. I take it you're not planning to do this all in one day, as I heard someone suggest once?

It is said its best to do San Fran to LA because you drive on the right nearer the edge cliff-road, but we went LA to SF as you are.

Its looking more and more likely that I'll be getting to Las Vegas for my 40th this year. Its just a matter of money, persuading my girlfriend, and seeing if I can get a cheap deal too.

My mate was 40 recently, and we both said how good it would be to go there for a laugh and a celebration, so it could just happen. Hopefully :)
